These aren’t his daddy’s tattered cargo shorts, now worn mainly on hiking trips where he won’t see too many people. They’re cargo shorts you’ll actually be excited to buy in all three colors: army green, royal blue, and blackish-gray. The fit is soft and comfortable, the pockets are roomy, and your little boy will be able to wear them practically anywhere (though we’re not accountable for private school dress codes, unfortunately.)

From luxury Italian label Eddie Pen, these cargo shorts are a classic, preppy basic that communicates American style with a hint of sophistication. They would make a great match with our classic Hartford buttondowns and vintage-looking polo shirts.
