Nursery Decor :

How lovely is this baby girl’s nursery, as featured on Mini Style Blog? Parents Hannah and Dylan began working on the room before they knew whether they were having a boy or a girl; when they found out it was a girl, they went back and added in a few feminine touches. Here’s what Hannah had to say about the nursery decor:
“I wanted to stick with a colour palette that could not only last her a few years but fitted in with the Nordic feel that flows through the rest of our home, so in the end we decided on grey, black, white and blush pink. Keeping the majority of the main furniture white allowed for a nice blank canvas to add colour in with accessories. Her room is small, and when I say small I mean very small! It was challenging to find the space to add all of the elements that I was wanting. We have used a fair bit of raised storage such as her shelving and hanging wardrobe to maximize the wall space and get the most out of the tiny room.”

Boy’s Room Inspiration :
By Estella Editor - POSTED Jul 8, 2014
What do you do when you have two boys sharing a room who are different ages and have different tastes in colors and toys? Follow the lead of Agata (of Rafa Kids), who started out by painting the room a neutral grey & using a sophisticated yet space-saving wooden bed set. Then, she incorporated little details to please each kid. Since the older one loves orange, there are pops of the color throughout the room. Most noticeably, the top of one of the walls & half of the ceiling were painted orange so that he could enjoy it from his top bunk. And because the younger son likes having all of his toys & books in from of him, open shelves (as well as space under his bed) allow him to have everything within reaching distance. Small details like these can add a personal touch for both boys! Check out the entire post here for more details and decorating ideas.

What a beautiful and fun boy’s room! The black + white bedding, furniture, and wall decorations are perfectly balanced out by bright reds and greens to give the room some bold color and keep it kid-friendly. Some of our favorite features: the “Flowers and Fire Engines” banner, which was a DIY project inspired by the boy’s favorite words, the impressive collection of LuckyBoySunday decorative pillows, the wall star decals, and the books shelves. View the entire room over on Mini Style Blog.
