Now available to order at Estella: the fall 2014 OmamiMini collection! Started last year by Ola Omami when she was unable to find clothes she liked for her toddler daughter, the LA-based boutique children’s clothing brand is full of effortlessly stylish pieces that are sophisticated yet still versatile & fun. There are cute graphic t-shirts & toddler leggings that can be worn every day as well as girls’ faux leather skirts & fur coats for toddlers that are also appropriate for more formal occasions. The OmamiMini website says it best: “We think that everyday clothes can be not only comfortable but interesting, while ‘Sunday best’ can be not only interesting but comfortable. Our garments are user-friendly for both children and adults: they’re easy to put on, just as easy to take off, and require very low maintenance.”
As an added bonus, everything about the line, from the design process to production is done right here in the USA. What are your favorite pieces? Head on over to our website to view the entire OmamiMini fall 2014 collection & check back later this week for an interview with Ola, the designer!
Here are some gorgeous images from NYC-based Goatmilk‘s spring 2014 campaign. The collection is full of lovingly crafted clothes for babies and kids (…and the occasional dog) that are understated and simple yet still sophisticated and elegant. “Inspired by European classics, we allowed form to follow function and quality to be the foundation on which we build,” the designers explain on the brand’s website. Neutral colors and black and white stripes make up most of the collection, but the occasional pointelle detailing, ribbed cotton, or tartan print keeps things modern. As an added bonus, all of Goatmilk’s pieces are made from 100% organic cotton – emphasizing the brand’s commitment to both the environment and those who manufacture the clothes. Babies (starting at 18 months) and kids (up to 12 years) will love the fashionable styles and super-comfortable feel while parents will appreciate the clothes’ quality, practicality, and modern aesthetic. Plus, the company’s appreciation for the environment is impressive – the clothes are all made in the U.S.A. from organic cotton fabrics and intended to be handed down and worn over and over again.
